You know…. I need to have this little rant because it’s something that has been bothering me lately.

I have the things that I like and it really burns me when people start tearing it apart. I’ve been running into it a lot more in the past months especially as I’ve been more public about my interests in comic books, super heroes, and other ‘geeky’ things. I have ALWAYS been into these types of things, but I was never very vocal about it.

Part of the reason I was not vocal about it was the above. But the above has two parts to it. One, when people tear it apart because they’re not into it. The second being that people tear it apart because they are way too into it.

The issue I’ve been running into lately was the ones who are way too into it. I wish they would just let me enjoy it and go along on my way, but instead they sit there and tear it apart to no end because of how one of the stories is told. It just drives me insane.

Biggest example right now, I LOVE Smallville and I am rewatching it right now. Someone I know has been tearing apart Lex Luthor in it and I just sit there like a puppy who is being scolded because I kind of like the portrayal in Smallville.

I understand everyone having their own opinions but don’t call people stupid for liking something that you don’t. Or be careful generalizing and saying “Anyone who thinks it even works is idiotic” or “Everyone who likes that is stupid.” Because for all you know the person you’re talking to does like what you’re insulting.

Okay, I’m done….

Fat Princess cosplay for AB.
Our group is mostly going as Play-Station All-Star characters.
This is one of her alternate costumes - the pirate :)

Not wearing the right shoes as you can see I’m barefoot, and there’s a bit more to work on in the back but other than that it’s all coming together!
EDIT: Also, my hair is not styled at all. I mean my hair is naturally curly but here it’s all blech from a day at work.

I think I will utilize today to work on the pieces of my costume that I can.
I still need to cut the sleeves off the jacket that I am using for my vest, fix the feathers on my hat, and make the eye patch. These are all easy things and should take less than an hour together.
Okay, maybe not…. the eye patch might take a little longer. I can’t rely on my cousin to get me the material I need for the eye patch so I will figure something else out. I do have a few ideaas.

Hopefully i will get the final fitting of my jacket tonight or tomorrow.

So I had something thrown at my this morning and maybe other Clixers can help me out since I haven’t heard of it but I’ve only been playing since about February.

Is there a restriction on how many characters on a board can have the same name?
Here’s the deal, I have a team of Goblins (The picture is a few posts back on my page) that I plan to use. Someone saw the picture on another site and told me this…. Anyways if you can’t tell from the picture the team consists of

Green Goblin (Web of Spider-Man)
Green Goblin (Marvel 10th Common)
Green Goblin (Marvel 10th Rare)
Hobgoblin 41a (ASM)
Demogoblin (ASM)

Only one of these guys is unique, and that’s Hobgoblin.

So, what’s your take on this? Am I not allowed to play this team because it’s got too many goblins?

I really need your help...

I went with the 3DS XL after the 3DS and I’m so much happier. The battery life is much better and the bigger screen doesn’t give me a headache the way the smaller one did. I play it much more than when I had just the 3DS.

You're obviously a fan of the goblins from Spider-Man, so I think you should totally pick the figures from the old REV sets. I think there's only 7, the Hobgoblins from Infinity, the Ultimate Goblin from Xplosion, and the Goblins from FF.
